As someone who was born in the US born grown up in the Caribbean, this book truly touched me. It was extremely related as it shared how challenging transitions can be and how important it is to realize we are all not the same. It is important to remain your authentic and embrace other’s authenticity as well. I appreciate this author for shedding light on such a subject area that is not really spoken about. This book will literally help you understand a number of things concerning; acceptance, diversity, authenticity, respect and more. It feeds all dynamics, and ages both young and old. Great for story time with the kids or just a read on your own. I kid you not when I say, it’s an amazing read all around. I had to leave a review so others can know about this book.
